The role

What you'll do

  • Negotiate nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) on behalf of the company and ensure ongoing compliance with all confidentiality obligations.
  • Safeguard company intellectual property by ensuring appropriate IP and data‑rights terms in government and prime‑contractor contracts; provide guidance on correct data‑rights markings, required invention disclosures, and patent‑filing timelines to preserve maximum patent rights.
  • Maintain the company’s agreement repository and dashboard and manage contract‑request workflows through the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
  • Enter executed contracts and sales orders into Oracle ERP system accurately and in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle—from proposal development and flow‑down review through contract execution, invoicing, and final closeout.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, including applicable laws and regulations, delivery schedules, payment terms, funding changes, time extensions, and government‑property obligations.
  • Assist in negotiating agreements and terms and conditions across a wide range of company contracts, including those with customers, suppliers, consultants, and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the proposal team to prepare, review, and deliver complete, accurate, and compliant proposals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain contracting policies, procedures, and process improvements to support compliant and efficient contract management.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in aerospace and defense company in a contracts or subcontracts role
  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, FAR 15 and FAR 12 contracting, FFP and Cost reimbursable contracts
  • Basic familiarity with commercial terms and conditions
  • Basic familiarity with US Government export control regulations
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization
  • Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • NCMA or WCCA certification is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and/or CLM tools is a plus
  • ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
