Blackbeard Hypersonic Weapon Production Delivery Order

Castelion received a U.S. Navy production delivery order worth up to $200 million to manufacture, assemble, test, and deliver an initial lot of Blackbeard hypersonic weapons to the fleet.

The SBIR Phase III production order was awarded by Portfolio Acquisition Executive Aviation through its Future Capability Development and Integration Aviation Rapid Capabilities Cell. Castelion said production work will take place at Project Ranger in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and in Torrance, California, following a June order for 50 engineering and operational capability weapons.
