1-alpha DRAM manufacturing starts in Manassas

Micron began manufacturing 1-alpha DRAM in Manassas, Virginia, introducing the most advanced memory technology yet produced in the United States.

Micron started 1-alpha DRAM manufacturing at its Manassas fab to supply long-lifecycle DDR4 and LP4 products used in automotive, defense, aerospace, industrial, networking, and medical applications. The more than $2 billion modernization is designed to quadruple DDR4 wafer supply at the site, with qualified 1-alpha production expected by the end of 2026.
