Form Energy opens its Weirton, WV iron-air battery factory on a former steel mill site.
Form Energy opened its first commercial iron-air battery factory in Weirton, West Virginia, on the site of a former Weirton Steel mill. The 100-hour duration storage technology is designed to backstop the grid for renewables and data center loads.
