Electrolux Midea Anderson manufacturing joint venture goes live

Electrolux Group and Midea Group formally launched Electrolux Midea Appliance Manufacturing at the Anderson, South Carolina, factory as the site transitions to premium top-load laundry production.

The joint venture is now operating while the existing Anderson factory is physically retooled. Electrolux reported that nearly three quarters of the former factory's planned decommissioning was complete and foundations were being poured for new presses and machinery; premium top-load laundry production is scheduled for the first half of 2027.
