737 North Line opens in Everett

Boeing opened a fourth 737 production line in Everett, Washington, beginning the first 737 builds outside Renton in more than 50 years.

Boeing opened the 737 North Line inside its Everett complex and started the first 737 MAX build at the site. The line initially focuses on the 737-8, -9, and -10 and begins with low-rate initial production. Backed by a $1 billion site investment, it is intended to add production resilience and help Boeing move from 47 to an eventual 52 airplanes per month across the program.
