FORGE depot modernization program launches

The U.S. Army launched a five-year modernization effort at Anniston Army Depot backed by a $986.97 million facilities award to Brasfield & Gorrie and an initial $658.17 million obligation.

The FORGE program combines four military-construction projects and 19 repair and maintenance projects to modernize the Alabama depot. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command oversees procurement, and the Army also awarded a separate $60.1 million architect-engineer contract to GM Hill-Baker JV for design, project management, and quality assurance.
