F-35 Site Activation Support Equipment Capacity Modification
The Navy added $871.2 million in ceiling capacity to Lockheed Martin's F-35 site-activation and sustainment contract for operational locations in the United States and allied nations.
Naval Air Systems Command awarded Lockheed Martin a contract modification that raises the ceiling for additional F-35 support-equipment capacity under the program's site-activation and hardware non-recurring sustainment effort. The work supports establishment and activation of land-based and at-sea operating sites for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, cooperative partners, and foreign military sales customers. Ninety percent of work is planned for El Segundo, California, and ten percent for Fort Worth, Texas.
