Haven Demo reaches orbit and begins independent operations

Vast's Haven Demo separated into independent orbit and brought all systems online, beginning a three-month flight campaign for commercial-space-station technology.

Haven Demo launched from Cape Canaveral on SpaceX's Bandwagon-4 rideshare and began independent orbital operations after separation. The spacecraft deployed its solar arrays four minutes later, became power positive 15 minutes after launch, and established first contact 23 minutes after that. Over the mission, Vast completed 49 test objectives covering power, avionics, communications, propulsion, guidance, thermal control, and flight software before a controlled deorbit in February 2026.
