J-85 Fuel-System Component Production Awards

The Defense Logistics Agency awarded Collins Engine Nozzles two Air Force production contracts with a combined potential value of about $148.3 million for J-85 fuel injection nozzles and engine main spray bars.

The West Des Moines manufacturer received an estimated $77.967 million one-time-buy contract for J-85 fuel injection nozzles and a separate three-year, $70.290 million maximum IDIQ contract for J-85 engine main spray bars. Both awards were sole-source acquisitions managed by DLA Weapons Support at Tinker Air Force Base.
