Work instructions are the single biggest productivity bottleneck in U.S. mechanical assembly — they're how knowledge transfers from engineering to manufacturing. Dirac is the first credible automation of that handoff and just landed Anduril as a multi-year partner.
How it runs
Sells BuildOS as an enterprise, model-based production-planning platform. It ingests CAD or connects to PLM, generates and versions work instructions, MBOMs, and BOPs, links with MES and ERP systems, and can run in regulated AWS GovCloud environments.
How it earns
Uses negotiated enterprise software subscriptions and multi-year deployment agreements sold through a direct sales motion; public pages invite customers to contact sales and do not disclose list pricing.
Why it wins
BuildOS maintains one living manufacturing model so design changes propagate into instructions and routings instead of triggering document rework. Initial Anduril deployment reported an 87.5% reduction in authoring time and expanded into a multi-year rollout.
