The thesis
Deep Tech Week is one of the highest-density gathering places for the people actually building hard tech in the U.S. — a serendipity engine and recruiting funnel for the reindustrialization community. Free, decentralized, and pointedly not pay-to-pitch.
How it runs
Produces Deep Tech Week as a decentralized, multi-city conference series. Independent organizations host events; Hyperstition curates and vets the calendar, coordinates citywide programming, and provides registration, profiles, attendee discovery, venue support, and analytics.
How it earns
Generates revenue from customizable sponsor packages, VIP passes, and produced sponsor activations ranging from receptions to fully staffed headline events. Most community-hosted events remain free to attend.
Why it wins
A federated format aggregates many independently produced events into one citywide week, giving attendees one discovery layer and sponsors repeated exposure across a concentrated network of deep-tech founders, investors, researchers, and operators.
