The product

Lumina builds heavy construction equipment that is fully electric and remote- or autonomously-operated. Its flagship Moonlander ML6 is a 32-ton, 750-hp dozer with 8–10 hours of runtime and 50-minute fast charge.

The thesis

American heavy equipment has been a Caterpillar / Komatsu duopoly with diesel-only powertrains. Lumina is the first credible challenger building electric autonomy from the ground up — a wedge into a $200B global market and a core piece of decarbonized domestic construction.
