The thesis
Logistics is how the U.S. wins or loses a Pacific war and is currently run on Excel, GCSS-Army, and 1990s-era custom software. Rune is the Anduril alumni-led answer; modern, AI-native, and built for contested environments.
How it runs
Builds and deploys TyrOS, a logistics software layer that combines sustainment data for planning, decision support, forecasting, and optimization from the tactical edge to enterprise commands; newer deployments can pair the software with TyrSense handoff sensors and autonomous systems.
How it earns
Primarily earns government software and associated-services revenue through contracts and task orders. Its five-year Army IDIQ has a $99 million ceiling and lets authorized military organizations procure TyrOS and services, but the ceiling is not guaranteed revenue.
Why it wins
TyrOS unifies planning and execution around a common sustainment data layer that can operate across echelons and contested environments; a broad Army acquisition vehicle and field-tested sensor/autonomy integrations can shorten both procurement and deployment cycles.
