Solideon

Robotic micro-factories that 3D-print rockets and pressure vessels end-to-end.

Additive mfgAerospaceRobotics
What they build

The product

Solideon's Aperture system is a multi-robot, autonomous 3D-printing platform that prints, post-processes, assembles, and inspects large-scale aerospace pressure vessels — rocket tanks, submarine hulls, propellant structures — using off-the-shelf industrial robots and wire-arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). The factory is the product, designed to be deployable anywhere and scaled by adding robot cells.

Why it matters

The thesis

Aerospace primes still build large structures in slow, fixture-heavy facilities. Solideon's approach compresses build times by ~70% and decentralizes rocket manufacturing — a direct play at the bottleneck preventing reindustrialization of U.S. space and defense supply.
