About
Chandler Luzsicza is founder and CEO of Galadyne, the Austin-based defense company building liquid-propellant missile systems designed for production at scale. He was lead propulsion engineer for Starship at SpaceX before a stint at Saronic, and he started building liquid rockets as a teenager. Galadyne's thesis, drawn directly from the SpaceX playbook, is that the U.S. solid-rocket-motor supply chain is too brittle to support a contested-fight munitions stockpile and that liquid propulsion is the path to scaling missile output. The company launched in 2025 with $4.8 million in pre-seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz and Pax Ventures.
