Delian Asparouhov co-founded Varda Space Industries in 2021 and serves as President, while continuing as a Partner at Founders Fund where Varda was originally incubated. He attended MIT before dropping out, then worked at Khosla Ventures and ran his own healthcare startup Nightingale before joining Founders Fund. At Varda his focus is on capital, regulatory clearance for reentry, and the long-cycle business development needed to turn microgravity manufacturing into a real pharmaceutical supply chain.
