Kenneth Cassel is the founder and CEO of RMFG, a Fort Worth, Texas vertically integrated sheet metal fabrication and weldments company that uses computer vision and automation to ship custom hardware on short turnarounds. A college dropout and Y Combinator alum, he taught himself to code while doing gas station maintenance and grew up in a large blue-collar Texas family. He started RMFG in 2024 to give the new generation of American hardware companies, drone makers, robotics firms, energy startups, a contract manufacturer that runs at the speed they actually need. The company raised $4.5 million in pre-seed funding to scale Vision-AI-driven sheet metal operations.
