Micah Springut is founder and CEO of Monumental Labs, a New York-based startup using seven-axis industrial robotic arms and AI to revive the ancient craft of stone carving for modern building facades, sculpture, and entire prefabricated stone structures. Founded in 2022 after Springut left the Bay Area tech world to learn stone carving at the Art Students League of NY, Monumental has raised $18M from Seven Seven Six, Alexis Ohanian, Elad Gil, Tobi Lütke, and Sahil Lavingia.
